First Post

Well, I'm not quite sure how I stumbled upon the idea to start a blog. Actually, I do...I've visited my friend's blogs quite often and enjoyed them, so I wanted to see if I could pull of something equally as entertaining, both to you, the reader, and myself. I have many interests which have resulted in equally as many part-time hobbies. Most of which have fallen by the wayside in the craziness that is my life. I feel a strong urge to get back to doing things I love so dearly. I figure, if my calculations are correct, that if I commit to writing a blog, that might give me the incentive to actually get out an DO things. Time passes by so quickly these days, yet, at the end of the day, I don't feel like I have accomplished anything really enjoyable. Yes, I've washed X loads of laundry and I've cooked a lackluster dinner and I've commuted two hours to my job...but what of that have I at least attempted to make enjoyable? So...I shall reawaken my inner creative Goddesses. My Chef. My Crafter. My Photographer. My Queen of Frugality. My avid Learner. My Cake Baker and Candlestick Maker. I seriously can't wait.
